About our School

NWSS was founded in 2014 after founder and director, Teresa Villarreal, aspired to introduce an alternative approach to second language acquisition.
“Offering a diversity of Spanish programs will allow students to continue advancing and improving their Spanish literacy skills throughout the years”.

Our Success

NWSS success is based on its unique programs and curriculum, which offer students a continuous path into bilingualism.  We work as a team committed to our students and our community as partners in education.

Bilingualism

Acquiring a second language has the potential to enhance cognitive flexibility, metalinguistic awareness, concept formation, and creativity.  More importantly, because language is connected to culture, it gives students the tools to succeed in a multilingual and multicultural environment.

Our Mission

To offer educational programs that immerse students into the Spanish language, literature, and culture.

Our Vision

To build a learning community of independent thinkers who value and respect others.
